It's actually happening...

Final pre-transfer scan yesterday and we are all set for our first FET on Thursday. We are going to transfer two of our precious Frosties. Started the progesterone pessaries yesterday - yet another detail that had escaped my notice when starting this whole thing! We were out and about yesterday so I had to go to a grotty public toilet for my lunchtime one yesterday - felt like that scene in Trainspotting where he drops his drugs down the loo and dives in after them - thankfully I didn't drop it! 😳. We've both got this whole week booked off then back to work on Monday so hoping the 2WW will go fast. Fingers crossed. Found out my mum had told her parish priest (who married us) what we are doing and he's asked the day of transfer so he can pray for us on the day! Modern times eh?

That's exciting ❤️ 👏👏 your lucky that your priest is so understanding. Our church have a very much if it's meant to be it's meant to be attitude. Not big on intervention 🙄 I didn't discuss the fact we were going through assisted fertility. It's lovely you have that support ❤️🙏

Thanks Miss Winky, yes it is lovely. Like for so many of us here, there is a whole load of love waiting for a baby if we manage to have one. And I had already thought if we were successful I would ask this same priest to baptise the baby. It's just a strange thought that he would pray for its successful transfer. I guess we've been quite open about what we are doing to our families and friends - I'm dreading the part where it fails and we have to break the sad news as everyone is so hopeful for us. But I've never been very good at keeping secrets...
