Frozen cycle

Evening, I was wondering if anyone can offer any advice on frozen cycle, already had 2 failed fresh cycles.

I am taken down regs and due to start a mix of tablets on Thursday including aspirin.

I am really worried that on day of transfer none of the 4 embryos will survive the process.

Can anyone offer any advice/support

Xx

I was very worried too. I other had 1 and that survived at 95%. Try not worry, I'm sure it will be fine 😘 xxx

We're having a fet in December/January. Apparently the success rate on the thaw is 80/90% so quite high! We have 4 too.

I am currently going through my frozen cycle and I think it's slightly easier physically and mentally than the fresh cycle. I am sure 4 eggs should be enough as it only takes one. Wishing you all the best Hun. Xxx

I had a FET after my failed fresh cycle. I found the whole process less demanding and felt much better through it, although I wasn't very optimistic due to the previous fail. I didn't even consider our embryo's not thawing, we had 4 frozen and they had to thaw 3 to get 1 good enough to transfer. I'm nearly 20 weeks now! It only takes 1. Its better to be prepared for some not thawing properly as I wasn't and found it quite upsetting. Best of luck.

I'm on my nasal spray now. Expecting my FET week before Xmas. I have three frozen embies. Process is much quicker and definitely less demanding.

All you can do is hope, pray and keep positive

Hi, as everyone says the chances of them successfully thawing are very high - 95% for blasts. If you have 4 I'm sure you will be fine. I had 5 frozen, 1 didn't survive thaw (which they were surprised about) the next one did and is now my 20 month old daughter! I'm about to start another fet cycle and have 3 left. The fet cycle is sooooo much easier physically. They say this contributes to success rates. Wishing you all the luck in the world xxxx

Hi, I'm also on my mix of tablets and one week into the process. Same as you, 2 failed fresh attempts and worried about our embryos. Have 2 frozen but 1was not recommended for freezing but we did anyway "didn't want to leave our baby all alone there :-)". It only takes 1 so keep your spirits up and wish you all of the best.

Ladies any advice that you found useful during your transfer period, vitamins, healthy food, old folks remedies etc. that can assist Katie and me.

Best of luck to you all xxx

Hey Katie, we have just had our FET few weeks back. We wer due to have a fresh one last year but due to a pylop, (we did our FET late January), Embies wer frozen (4), having read stats etc, we wer confident knowing that they generally have a 90-95% success rate of thawing. We have our 8 week scan in March. I would not stress too much about it, the success rates are quite good.

Wishing you all the very best.
