yep I’m on an unmedicated FET cycle - first scan and blood test was yesterday (day 10), I’ve got another blood test tomorrow & possibly Sat. Assuming transfer will be end of next week ish. Good luck!!!!
I’m having a completely natural cycle so they were tracking LH & progesterone levels to identify ovulation. I’ve never done it quite this way before! Sore arm but at least confident in the tracking!
Nice to have a buddy ❤️You get a nice early scan , my clinic don’t do scans until day 12-14 ! I think that’s late ! I’m a day after you on meds then. Sorry to hear about your loss , is this your first medicated cycle or was previous medicated? Be lovely to stay in touch x
My very first one was medicated and that was a BFN.. but I’ve seen such varied results from many different peopleand my clinic says that there is no difference really between the two. They say the medicated just gives you more control rather than waiting for ovulation and I thought I’d go with a bit more control this time! 😂 and yes let’s definitely stay in touch, ill keep you posted and please do the same x
Hello 🤗 tomorrow will be day 15 of Oestradiol and my second scan. My lining was 7.4mm yesterday so hoping tomorrow it will have hit the 8mm the clinic want. Then I'll start Cyclogest and Lubion on Saturday or Sunday, then all being well, transfer on Thurs or Fri next week.
This is for our second child, we were lucky enough to have a little girl via ICSI in 2020. Just have the one frosty (day 5 blast) left over from that cycle. I initially started treatment a year ago but they found a polyp which had to get sorted, then the clinic we were at got it's licence revoked by the HFEA so we had to spend a few months moving things. Hoped to try in October and started meds, but by that point the stress has taken its toll and I wasn't very well with dizziness symptoms, so had to stop treatment once more. Symptoms got better after a couple of months and now here I am again!
Wishing all the best to everyone who is going for it this month xx
can I ask how they found the polyp ? I have had two separate baseline scans which showed no issues but I’m wondering how accurate they really are . It was the initial transvaginal one xx
At the clinic I was at, all my baseline scans (transvaginal) were okay, then a week into medications starting the found the polyp and decided it had to be removed before treatment. I ended up getting that done on the NHS but it was extremely small and the gynaecologist who did the hysteroscopy didn't think it would have caused an issue with implantation which was a bit gutting. Just in the waiting room for my scan today, hopefully I'm at the magic 8mm 🤞
Exciting ! Hope all went well ! Can I ask how they found it ? I have had previous surgery and I’m just so worried about it but at the same time trying not to and be positive about this second go xxx
The polyp was found during a transvaginal ultrasound.
My appointment went well, lining is as it should be now, 8.3mm, so start progesterone tomorrow and transfer booked for next Thursday.
I worry about every little thing going wrong so I know how you feel! I'm trying to take each day as it comes but it's not easy, good luck, hope the next week goes okay while you're waiting for your first scan x
I bet you are but so exciting ! I have to wait another week for mine and it can’t come soon enough ! Out of interest have you or anyone had sensations similar to ovulation pain ? Im on day 4 on medication and last night had what I would describe as one sided ovulation pain but odviously not .. this medication has been worse than sims for side effects ! Xx
I am on medicated cycle too, day 13 so far… had my scan on Tuesday and the lining is 14.6mm… and two weeks before was 15.7mm, it’s weird that it went thinner since I have started medication. But doctors are happy with it and will have a frozen transfer on the 9th of Jan…not long now 😍
Saw you were talking about sensation of ovulation pain… I started to experience this sensation after 3 days of taking oestrogen tablets and got very worried that I will ovulate very early… but they had a look at my ovaries on Tuesday and said that everything is fine. And it did settle once I have started my progesterone on Wednesday. So don’t worry, you will be fine.
Thank you so much for answering this for me , i had it again this afternoon and was almost painful , rang the clinic and they said to take some paracetamol and if it hadn’t improved in the next day or two to let them know and they might scan me . Said it might be that I’m just sensitive to oestrogen. Wow that’s a great lining !! Best of luck to you . It’s so weird as the ovaries are turned off due to the ovamex but It feels like loads is going on ! Xx
I’m also doing FET this month, first one as we had to do a freeze all cycle back in November last year due to risk of OHSS, fortunately we were lucky enough to have 5 blastocysts to freeze!
I had a baseline scan yesterday (day 3) and have another scan booked in for 16th jan with the transfer scheduled for 23 jan, the transfer will be done 3 weeks into my cycle which I’m assuming is normal! I started Estrelle solo yesterday so no side effects as of yet! Xx
Hello. I am also doing FET on un medicated cycle day 5, this will be our 3rd FET. Ive not told family/friends this time about this round as thought it may be easier, so it’s helpful to share with the group, hope it’s going okay, good luck x
I've started meds and have my first tracking scan on Monday. Feeling really nervous as it's out first FET... I've found the oestrogen side effects quite intense!
how is everyone getting on? My lining is at 9.4 and have my transfer booked for Friday , feeling very anxious about this cycle, couldn’t want anything more and I’m trying not to put too much emphasis on it! The estrogen is now making me a hormonal mess , hoping the progesterone calms it but last cycle I found myself emotional on the progesterone so who knows what state il be in 😩 xxx
