Scans and Bloods Today..

Hey everyone,

I hope your all doing well and wish of course you all the best luck in the world!!

I had scans and bloods taken today just had results they say i need to take final injection this evening and then i can go Thursday morning to have my eggs collected!

They also said they saw tube swollen and what looked like a polyps on my womb i was a bit confused because i was diagnosed with polyps at gynea clinic and had it removed there they have said they are going to proceed as planned but may need to freeze my eggs and investigate further! just another worry i suppose nothing is ever straight forward with me, also she mentioned my partners sperm not being strong enough and so may have to use icsi, so fingers crossed for me on a lot of things!

Not feeling that confident after today really but hopefully things look up soon..

Hi Liz,

I know set backs can be so annoying and you think you will never get there. You will!, and it is so much better that you have a lovely womb and all the boxes ticked before ET. I had a lap in the March, i think it was March. They removed 2 polyps and both tubes ( due to hydrophinx) and less than a year later, i had another small polyp ( i think those pesky little things can easily return).

My clinic was in Europe and they use icsi as standard, so try not to worry about that. Its very successful!.

I was at the centre on my last birthday and that was when i was told i would need IVF! Exactly a year later i am having my eggs collected! weird! lol xxx
