EC today

On my second round of ivf, had the long protocol. Had 13 follicles and 13 eggs retrieved! Feeling positive 😁

Although work have not taken kindly to me having a sick day today along with all of the appointments I have had (they are not very understanding so I haven't told them what is happening ) and I now have a meeting on Tuesday to 'discuss how things are going' ... Great!

Fingers crossed for good fertilisation tomorrow 🤞🐣

Misky don’t worry about work these are great numbers yaaaaay! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀ps: I know it’s annoying because it our business, but I told my line manager about me doing IVF otherwise they wouldn’t have been flexible....it’s not fair that you take sick day!

Great news! Lots of luck for your fertilisation update lovely. I appreciate that we and our work environments can really vary, but I definitely found the whole process much less stressful once I had told my line manager. I know we shouldn’t have to, but if the alternative creates lots of additional stress then I would at least consider it xxx

Hi, I would recommend telling your manager too. It is hard but I think it will be a weight lifted for you too. If your manager already has kids, they will be particularly understanding. Good luck.

Yeah I think I am going to have to tell them something. Its just they have been so unsympathetic in the past. When I had my operation for my lapyoscope they were vile to me.
