Hi, ours was a bit different as they focused on the male infertility factor first before doing further tests with me. I remember they took lots of blood samples, checked my bmi all the time and then had an internal scan to check ovaries and uterus etc.

Shouldn't be anything scary so don't worry, remember to make a list of questions to ask the consultant and best of luck 🍀xx

Hi jojo thanks for the reply... We already know that it's his infertility that's causing us the problems and I've had an internal and external ultra sound with my gynecologist also had the hsg xray.. did u have all this before you were referred... I don't even know where to start with questions any tips.. xx

Hi, sounds like you are further forward than we were at the second appointment. Do they know the cause of his infertility? Before my husband got booked in for his surgery to retrieve the sperm they double checked my hormones again and I had a scan but that was like appointment 4.

Maybe just ask their plan and I'm sure you'll think of plenty questions following that. Xx

Yeah he had trauma in that region due to his work... We had all those tests done before we were referred to the fertility clinic... I have a fabulous GP who got the ball rolling really quickly... I've done the chlamydia tests and multiple blood tests at the fertility clinic.. xx

Awww sorry to hear that, have they said you will have to use a sperm donor or can they surgically extract some?

Have you had the standard HIV and rubella tests yet? My clinic also checked baseline hormone levels again before proceeding to treatment. Felt like a pin cushion lol xx

Yeah button the consultant said it could be up to 9months so in my head I've decided it will take 9months so I'm not disappointed if it does take that long xx
