I have my first follow up appointment with my clinic following my miscarriage this week. Just wondering what u think I could expect and what questions u feel I could ask maybe? Am fortunate (in some ways) that I have had one period and have ovulated since so hopefully that good. I have one low ish grade FE left . Any input be much appreciated. TIA x
hey sweetie. ..we in same boat sadly and had appointment last week..to be honest I went with questions but not much they can answer..why did I miscarry, when u saw our baby and heard our baby twice was there any signs etc etc..they like most questions I have asked on this journey could not be answered so we focused on asking about our remaining frostie and what she would recommend next..no changes to treatment plan for us just another damn scratch then natural fet with clexane and prednisolone. ..oh the joys. ..a holiday first tho to remind us who we are as a couple before going again. hopefully they prescribe that for you too 😉good luck and onwards for us all loads of love xxxx oh meant to say not sure if your first bfp but was ours so she was pleased we could actually get pregnant although huge effort to get that bfp to end like this and still have empty arms but I guess medically it is a good thing xxx
Hey vic thanks for your reply. Useful to hear your experience with it. Yep was my first positive too so I guess like u we may stick to the same too then. Oh can understand them not always having answers but oh be good if they did sometimes a. Yours especially was so tragic can imagine. So hard for u. How u doing now? Holiday sounds good indeed. We have had a bit of a break from it all too which been nice too ☺️ lots of good luck to u too. U deserve it! Xx
awww hunny all of us on here deserve it..yourself included. no answers in this game sadly. ..am doing ok...feel am just winging it but got my fab dh and my furbaby so they will get me thru ...loads of love to you and hope ur appointment goes well xx
Bless u thank u. Think we all just wing it. Def what am doing. Ahh can see from ur pic u got a gorgeous furbaby. My furbaby and dh def keeps me going too. Def lucky in that sense. Decided will just get a house full of dogs if this don’t work they ace. Hopefully it will though n may just do that any way😁. Glad u doing ok. Enjoy ur holiday hun xx

Hello....really sorry to hear about your miscarriage!! We sadly had a chemical pregnancy last month which was devastating!
We went for our follow up appointment to find our consultant didn’t no and congratulated us on our pregnancy.....was a hard day!! Anyway once he heard the story we were told we had to wait two cycles before we could use our frozen!! I asked if they would do anything different and his reply was no...because they see a cp as a positive apparently and it was a good sign I actually got pregnant!! So we were sent away and I’ve to track this month when I ovulate and contact them on my first day of second cycle!!

Hey. Thanks for ur reply. Oh sorry to hear about your CP. so sad and devastating indeed. your appointment does sound v hard too. Would’ve thought your consultant would’ve heard. Sounds but insensitive. Hope it success for u next time.
Am learning from u all that prob will be the same again then. Not such a bad thing u guess hopefully it will work again and the pregnancy can continue this time 🙏 hope for u too. Best wishes xx
That’s what we thought too, we couldn’t understand why he didn’t no!!! I was originally booked in for a scan so that’s probably why!!
It’s such a rollercoaster isn’t it, I knew it wouldn’t be easy but never thought we’d hit all these hurdles xx
I know is def a rollercoaster indeed. Hopefully it will get easier but well who knows a. Life is nothing but a challenge 🙄 wish it cud be a bit simpler at times but hey. ☺️. Hope all goes well for u! 😁xx
