Hello Ginger1984,

Try not to stress too much, I'm sure one dose won't make any difference. I bet there are lots of women out there who have taken cold and flu meds (or worse!) without realising they are pregnant who then go on to have healthy babies. It must happen all the time!

Take care x

Hi Ginger1984. I have only just read this post. Buttercup syrup is not normally recommended during pregnancy, or if you are trying for a baby. However, I am assured that one dose should not go amiss. In future, you would be better to take some warm lemon and honey, if you get a sore throat (old fashioned, but recommended). I wish you well with the rest of your pregnancy, and that all goes to plan. Diane
