I just wanted to know if anyone has had acupuncture in early pregnancy. Naturally I'm really nervous due to previous losses and was thinking to go have some acupuncture (I was going to start this cycle to help conceive) to help me relax and help circulation. What are the benefits of it is it worth it I don't like needles so won't be looking but does it hurt?
Any info would be greatly appreciated iv already been in contact with the lady she's said her part. Just would like personal experiences please.
Lots of love

I personally love Acupunture and felt it really helped with my anxiety while pregnant to. Soon as I had a positive test I didnβt have many needles in just to help with blood flow and any to relieve symptoms so I thought it was beneficial. I didnβt find it painful, the needles are really thin and once there in you kind of forget there there. Hope it helps if you do decide to try it xx
Oh gosh hun. This is dreadful hun. I bet your exhausted with all this headache. Hopefully hospital can get something sorted ASAP it's been going on too long. Sending you big hugs ππ€π
I'm not bad hun thanks for asking, just a bit of a nervous wreck but trying to keep positive got rid of the rubbish tests they were sending me on one did start to get slightly darker. Got frer and it's a strong positive stronger than last pregnancy.
Got my scan next Friday which is quite a worry as 3 of my losses have been on the 3rd π
Trying to keep positive
I think I'm going to give the acupuncture a go all being well next Friday
I've been having acupuncture from before my last cycle and all the way through my pregnancy, I love it, i enjoy the back treatments whereby Im laid on my stomach with was fine up until I as about 20 weeks then the bump gets in the way so I now still have needles in my back I just lie on my side inside, definitely would recommend x
It makes feel really relaxed (a little like when you go for a massage) it's just an hour I get to have time out just for myself without any work or stresses getting in the way. It also helped me early on with nausea & I started getting painful hips which it also helped to relieve. I only have 10 weeks till my due date and Im booked in up to my due date I go every 3 weeks now. Before pregnancy it was every week but it can be expensive going weekly xx
I've had it before and during treatment and i'm thinking about going now that we're pregnant. I usually go to sleep during my treatments so will be good to relax x
I'm 4+4 I actually feel good. That maybe because I have endo and normally feel rubbish. I had sickness yesterday like dirty dry mouth and gipping all time. I nap everyday but I think these magnesium baths are really helping me loads. Xx
π a magnesium bath is a bath with magnesium flakes in it's a God send and it's helped loads with my fatigue and cramps in hands etc. A lot of us are deficient in it and the best way to get it in our bodies is through bathing due to it not having to get filtered through the liver.
Some ppl use Epsom salts I use magnesium chloride buy it in bulk. It relaxes me but it's also helped loads. Google it.
It's awful when we're tired all the time just don't feel like doing anything it's headache. Have you had your bloods checked for vitamins xx
I've been avoiding baths since treatment and although I usually shower, when I have a bath I like it to be hot and feel my muscles relax in the heat.
My clinic don't do blood tests unless urine sample comes back as faint positive.
I'm taking pregnacare max and trying to eat fruit and veg but I have noticed not so healthy cravings but that is just because I'm so tired I'm looking for the extra energy I think.
I've never seen/heard of magnesium flakes but I might have to look into it.
I don't mean to complain about being tired as I'm more than happy to take all the side effects to get our baby home this time but having to function at work and for friends and family is difficult when I feel like I haven't slept in weeks. X
I get what you mean hun it takes it's toll on you. Trust me I get it iv struggled with fatigue all my life and endo it's worse when I'm having a bad time.
If you can't have baths you can make your own magnesium spray or even buy the oil or spray and after your shower lather it on. It's took about a month for me to feel great but I know it's that because that the only thing iv changed and after realizing I was low in bit d and folate then I thought seen as though magnesium deficiency is so common I must have that also.
Don't worry hun you will get on top if it. Eat figs they are high in magnesium also drink orange juice when your eating nuts to absorb the iron. It all helps. Hope you get some relieve soon hun. Here if you ever need to chat your a day ahead of me hun well help each other through it. ππ€π
