New day, new question..

Hi ladies just finished my fourth shot of Menopur and it finally seems like hubby has cracked it. Day 1 was a mare, day 2 I only got half a ml of liquid (but all power), yesterday and today were better. Anyway, today's worry is symptoms. Should I be feeling anything yet? Apart from some tummy rumbles, a powder taste at the back of my throat and being tired I don't feel anything. I've been reading (error!) that people who have twinges have a good follicle growth and those who feel nothing, don't respond well. I'm petrified of getting to my day 9 scan and nothing's happened because we've messed up 2 days of meds. What side effects has anyone else had after 3 days on Menopur? I am thirsty a lot too btw. Hope you've all had a good Easter. I smiled earlier as I read something which said ' the only eggs I want this Easter are the fertilised kind' :) lol xx

Try not to worry.

I just felt tired during my stims and towards the end of them I just felt uncomfortable moving around as there was quite a lot of pressure inside I guess.

I used a hot water bottle on my belly after injecting as warmth is meant to be good for the follicles??

The scans are good indications to the clinic how you are doing and at the end of the day, it is a pain if you need more days, but worthwhile for the better outcome :-)

I agree with hollibob, I had no symptoms till near the end which was just pressure. Try not to worry the clinic will have a reasonably good idea of what you should respond to & if at the first scan your Meds need changing they will do x

Hi, just to also say that when I used menopur I had to real symptoms at first. Towards the end I became bloated but had regular scans to check follicle cycles and dose increased a few times. I managed to get to the embryo transfer stage. Good luck xx

Thanks Hun. Still no real side effects yet so I think I may have a nervous week until Fridays scan :) xx
