Day 1 of Injections

Hi. This is day 1 of injections on our first ever cycle. Really feel like this is it beginning today now. All a bit more real.

Just done my first 2 injections of the day. I have nominated hubby to do it. I don't mind needles but don't like watching it being done so not sure I could have done it myself.

Not sure who was more nervous, me or hubby haha.

He done great and it was all very painless.

I have low AMH and hubby has low count & mortality so need ICSI.

Some days it's not so easy but still staying positive and feeling good just now.

Hi, Moirgraham! Congrats with your first steps. We've gone through several treatment options so I've got quite huge experience with injections. But my first time was just like yours - lol - plus fear about the needles. Had my dh to do it for the first week and he was great. I guess this is not even fear or phobia about doing injectables but that thing that this all is completely new to us, so we're more than just emotionally stressed.

After all time flew, we accomplished DE IVF program successfully in Ukrainian clinic.

Congrats on your 1st day....I was in your shoes last week when I done my 1st of injections 😁

That's me got through a week now....so far so good....

I hated doing the injections at first but now got used to it and I don't mind them now....

The area on my stomach is a little bit tender and bruised but not too bad.

Just keep staying positive ☺️ X
