Exciting but nervous times

Hello ladies 😄, just thought I'd say hello. I've started on Buserelin 12 days ago, finding them a lot better than what I thought. I get a few hot flushes but only during the night 😴. I wish you all the best with your treatment & congratulations to all who it's worked for. Cathie xx

I started on Bureselin a week ago. I'm finding it ok - just really tired! If all goes well I'm hoping to start Menopur by the end of next week. Hope all goes well for you! X

Hi,

I think it depends on what day of your cycle you start and how long your cycle is. I started on day 21 and my cycle is usually around 28 days, although they did say that sometimes your period can be a few days late. Where are you being treated? I'm at Leicester.

I'm hoping to have a baseline scan next week (if my period turns up on time!) and fingers crossed start the next stage then, but there's so many things that it depends on. My egg collection should be around the 25th if everything goes smoothly. It drives me mad that i can't control or plan it!! It would definitely be good to stay in touch xx

I'm being treated at liverpool women's hospital, the staff are lovely 😊. I started mine on day 23 & my cycle is every 30 days. My cycle has been on time this week so hopefully the scan will go well on 17th & I'll move onto the second injections. All going well I should have my eggs taken at the end of the month, so we r really close. Take care of your self & we'll stay in touch xx

Hi, I started gonalf f one week ago....so I'm only about a week ahead of you. Will find out mon when my egg collection will be.

Exciting times for us all, also a bit nervos as its coming closer...becomes weird that I'm so close to potentially getting what we all wish for for, but also could be so far away there's no knowing.

Glad your feeling ok with the treatment, I sart hormone injections on Monday, am worried how I will feel, have you put on weight? Emotional? Moody? X x x

Hi Lucy, you have nothing to worry about hun, they've not affected me too much, I've read they affect people in different ways. I've not put any weight on, just had hot sweats in the night & a few headaches. Good luck lovely, I'm a little ahead of you so if you have any questions I'll be happy to help if I can xx
