Does anyone have any experience of going for IVF through Newcastle???

How long did you wait for your first cycle after your initial consultation? Is it months, or only a matter of weeks??

Expecting to be referred by my gynae around end of July so just wondering how long it all takes from then.

If your at the centre for life they don't have a long waiting list so once you get your appointment and they've done all the blood tests etc. you should be able to start your treatment pretty quickly and if you are accepted for NHS treatment you get 3 cycles so will only have prescription fees to pay (get a prepaid prescription certificate its cheaper). Thanks Allicat that sounds heartening and thanks for the tip on the prescription cert! Danielle, a bit daunted and scared by the whole thing- keep hoping it doesn't come to IVF but looking pretty likely now. I'll also have a 2.5/3hour drive each way so stressful travel on top of the treatment thanks ladies xx
