Can anyone help. I am supposed to pay for my IVF private because my partner has a child who doesnt live with us but lives abroad.
Fortunately we have managed to save money for our first cycle. We live in Leicester East Midlands. I would like to ask if anyone would know the best clinic/hospital that has good success rates in this area.
I had the HSG & my right tube was totally blocked and the left was blocked and when they forced the dye in it opened and closed again that is why l have been referred for the treatment.
One last question l would like to ask is which are the best supplements to take for me and my partner? I was looking into pregnacare but not sure if l can take Omega 3 fish oil plus the co- enzyme q10 as well since they are not in the pregnacare. Your help will be much appreciated.

I have heard good thinga bout the co enqyme and I'll take it for my next round. and the omega fish oil is good but they said not cold liver oil or something.
It's so annoying about the child. That happened to me. I was penalised becaue my parnter had a child he only saw once a week.
Both Care and Nurture are brilliant clinics and local to you, have a look at the HEFA website for stats and go to a few patient information evenings before you choose a clinic.
with regards to supplements they are all fine for now, and the clinic will say what you can take during treatment. However, better than supplements iis eating 10 fruit and veg a day, no drinking and no prosessed rubbish food, and some gentle exercise is good for mind and body too.
@JoyDivision thank you so much, I know its so unfair and with us we don't even see the child.......it's sad. Cloudyrain I gladly appreciate your advice. I will definitely look into going to the patient information evenings because l had not actually thought about that. I will continue taking the supplements.
Does anyone know roughly how much a cycle costs there
I think you really should insist on some more diagnostics being done before considering IVF. if your tube blockage is a hydrosalpinx this can seriously compromise the IVF success rate I'm afraid.
