Just received result of chromosome test and 2 embryos are abnormal (both blastocyst) This is my 5th icsi cycles and I am 42. 4th cycle also ended up with abnormal embryo. My husband has problem with sperm quantity, mobility and quality. But I will keep trying 😀
My FSH is around 5 but not sure about AMH (last 2 years 2.5) and each cycle I got around 12-14 eggs but survived to blastocyst only 1-2.
I also keep praying for everyone who is fighting this long journey.
Thank you.

Oh dear. Your story made me sad and hopeful at the same time. Im very sorry you had a long road so far but just also wanted to say how inspiring and strong you are❤️ stories like this keep me going. Stay strong and keep soldiering on. Xx
Thanks so much for your message and encouragement. Somehow I have to accept that my age affects egg quality. From the latest result, embryos are missing many chromosomes, look scary.
However, I will keep fighting and undergoing this as long as egg can be produced and retrieved.
Let’s fight together!! and I hope you all the best along this journey.
Good luck. Don't blame everything on your eggs though, especially if your husband's sperm is not good quality. With high DNA fragmentation of sperm even good egg isn't going to make a viable embryo easily.
Hi Exclusique. So sorry to hear of your cycle failing. I suppose you have given some thought to using an egg donor or sperm donor?? Unless of course if you persevere long enough, perhaps you could create a good embryo, who knows. Thinking of you. Diane
Thanks for your encouragement and recommendations. My husband and I will keep using our own egg and sperm only as it is not a thing in my country to use egg or sperm donation.
Hi Exclusique. I fully understand your choices, so huge luck for you both, and hopefully there will be at least one little one waiting to grow on for you both. Thinking of you. Diane
Hi exclusique, just wanted to say hi as I’m a fellow 5 failed rounds veteran. It’s a tough place to be. You sound amazingly upbeat, after this many rounds I’m sure you are very resilient. Best of luck with your continuing journey xx
Thanks so much for dropping by and words of encouragement. Although the medical record for the latest round showed quality problems in both eggs (sticky, dark spots etc) and sperms (very low count & motility), I won’t give up yet. Keep fighting together.
I hope you all the best for your upcoming transfer.
