6 weeks pregnant and most symptoms went away 3 days ago

Hi! I'm sorry for posting lots in the last couple weeks, I'm just very anxious as I was having lots of symptoms and in the last 3 days I haven't felt many, I haven't had nausea in 3 days and I was having that everyday before, I asked for a earlier scan and they said no and I can't afford to go private, my scan is next Tuesday on the 29th, I still have some symptoms but very mild now, have any of you experienced this before and had a successful pregnancy? Xx

Hi Asha, did you have a double or single transfer?My symptoms dissipated a bit at 6 weeks, I didn't get "proper" pregnancy symptoms until about 8 weeks when the nausea and full whack tiredness kicked in. And even then it came in waves, one day yes, the other day less.

I did have a double transfer - so I think that was part of why I felt such intensity at the beginning - when my HCG was doubling rapidly as both embryos initially stuck...so this could be part of what you're feeling also! Just a normal levelling off

Thank you for letting me know, i just got my hcg blood test results and they are 21,524 which is apparently really good for 6 weeks pregnant, my clinic told me the levels at 6 weeks pregnant stop doubling every 2-3 days and start doubling every 96 hours which is why the symptoms come and go

I didn't, unfortunately at my 7 week scan I had one viable embryo and one that had arrested at week 5 ish. But still grateful for the little girl that's stuck around and kicking me now 💕

Thank you, to be fair we transferred two as that was the best recommendation to have one embryo work so although it's a bit bittersweet we're totally thrilled with our one baby in there x

I think you are just 2 days ahead of me, I also get so paranoid when I no longer feel nauseous. It seems to come and go for me - I’m not sure if it’s normal but just wanted to post to say I’m getting a similar symptoms! Wishing oh I want to feel sick and then later wondering why I wanted that 🙈 it’s so difficult this wait isn’t it. I have my scan on the 31st august and I’m worried there will be no viable pregnancy ….

I understand how you feel as I have my scan on the 29th of August and I'm scared of something going wrong as well, I just spoke to my ivf clinic and they said it's normal and if there isn't any bleeding or bad painful cramps then it sounds like everything is ok, apparently once your 6 weeks pregnant your levels stop doubling every 48-72 hours instead it takes 96 hours to double

It’s just the unknown isn’t it! I’m trying hard not to feel too negative about it all as there is no point prolonging things if they do end up going the wrong way. Got to celebrate that embryo is definitely still in there somewhere (and hopefully growing and heart beating by now 🥰) I’m saying this but still finding it a bit difficult, currently on an intensive dance course which is definitely distracting me as it’s hard work 😅 but still can’t help but think of things. I’ve liked looking at this chart to see the risk go down/probability of live birth go up each day datayze.com/miscarriage-chart

Yes it's definitely the unknown but have to try to stay positive even though it's so hard, hopefully both of babies hearts are beating and doing well in there❤️, have you been feeling very hungry? I feel constantly hungry lol

Not really tbh but I’m super tired atm as on day 3 of course and my muscles are really feeling it! It’s one way to pass time faster though (although I didn’t intent for it to happen this close after transfer tbh but what can you do 🤷‍♀️)

I was supposed have mine today too but I’m currently stuck in Greece due to air traffic control issues in UK. 🙈

My scan went really well, there is one baby measuring 10.7mm with a heartbeat of 130bpm and apparently I'm 7 weeks and 2 days pregnant where I thought I should only be 7 weeks today do that's exciting, sorry to hear you had to miss your scan because of the traffic control in UK, hopefully you can get back soon and have your scan, I wish you all the best with your scan

Hi! How are you feeling? I had my viability scan today and I had my dates wrong I thought I should be 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant but I'm actually 7 weeks and 1 day pregnant, I'm having one baby that is measuring 10.7mm with a heartbeat of 130bpm, I'm so happy I can't wait to you have your scan and hopefully you will get the same good news xx

No not because of that because I was going by date of last period but they go by date of ovulation

Wow super high! Not sure mine would be that high, so maybe you do have 2! I’m 6 wks today so only 7 more days till scan 😬 I thought about doing more bloods but not sure it’s useful/helpful unless I do it a few times ….

Yes I'm starting to think it's twins, I only did mine because my symptoms eased of and I was paranoid, I've got my scan in 5 days I will be 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant as I'm 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant today, we are only 1 day apart🙂

Aw nice! My nausea is definitely not as bad as it was at start of week but still there when I first get up in morning …. I really wish we didn’t have to wait so long before a scan 😳 have you had many transfers? This is my third (although 1st transfer of 2nd cycle)

My nausea came back very strong today and everytime I try to eat I'm almost throwing up, this is my 4th transfer, with my 3rd transfer I fell pregnant but I had a silent miscarriage and I had extremely low hcg levels they never got higher then 593, I'm also feeling mega tired

It’s funny how we are wishing the nausea to come back and when it does it’s like ahhh not nice 😂 usually mine goes away after eating but hasn’t yet this morning 🙈 miscarriages are really the worst you would think after going through all this we wouldn’t have to deal with that too but nope it’s another one of these things you can’t control 😳

I'm 14weeks pregnant and was also concerned by the lack of symptoms. I had a few that would come and go so try not to worry as it's completely normal xx
