1300"+ steps per day 9 weeks pregnant

i've been finding that i've been unintentionally racking up almost 15000 steps a day because of running around after family, moving house and other stuff. I was put on modified bed rest at the start of my pregnancy due to bleeding and severe cramping. And i get quote a lot of lower torso /back ache at the end of each day. Am I doing too much do you think? Am also 41 and IVf pregnancy so don't wanna ruin it! Thank you! 🙏

Hey, it’s so difficult to take it easy when it sounds like you are extremely busy. If you are in pain at then end of the day then my gut would say it might be a wee bit much. Is there anyone who knows your situation who could help you out? I know it’s even harder at this time of year but it’s amazing how people come through for you if you let them.x Hope you enjoy your new house at Christmas and all the best going forward.x

no ine knows unfortunately and very nervous to say anything as feel i'm still high risk for miscarriage so don't really want to share yet (and thee I am unable to keep my steps down! 😩) . My husband and son are both sick with the lurgy so have been running around after them too 😩 Am gonna really try and slow things down though as think it can't be good but i suppose it's least it keeps blood flow going?!

oh poor you, sounds like you are having a difficult time. Wishing the family a speedy recovery. It sounds like your step count is probably quite high on a normal day anyway so try not to worry too much. Will keep everything crossed for you & sending a big hug your way. Grab the little breaks when you can.x

I was always told it’s what your body is used to. I have continued to exercise quite a lot although modified it a bit but I’m doing a lot of walking and swimming, like you I get a lot of aches and pains and my back and hips have started to hurt but my midwife just said it was normal and if my body was used to it not to worry too much. Sounds like it’s unavoidable in your case, just remember not to do anything you regret and rest when you can to recover, I’ve found a bath in the evening helps my aches and pains x
