Pregnancy screening results

HiI had my blood test for the combined screening test on 2nd Dec but haven't had my results back yet.

How did everyone else get their results? Not sure if to chase the hospital or my midwife? Hoping a delay us a good sign.

Thanks

Our results came through the post, I think with all the mail strikes and Christmas deliveries all mail is really delayed. Ours took about a week without mail strikes etc so I am sure yours will be here any time now x

Thanks Daisy, I assumed it would be a text or letter uploaded as forgot to ask at the scan! 🤦🏼‍♀️ In that case with strikes that makes sense about why we've not heard yet.

I think it took a couple of weeks. But do call your midwife! My understanding was they would call sooner if they needed too.

I can’t remember how long mine took exactly but I definitely remember them saying they came by post if it was good news, but that they’d ring much sooner (within a few days) with any concerns. So I’d say yours is more than likely all good! x

I had to call for mine because of the strikes too. They said letter means low risk though and they call you within a couple of days if anything wrong. I still haven’t had the letter and it was posted last Tuesday so I think they are a little behind still.

That's really helpful thank you. Hope you get yours in the post shortly although at least know it's low risk.

I got a call the morning after mine ( which was an afternoon scan) because I had high risk.

hey! Yeah good - just recovering from covid! We opted to have the nipt because of high risk and it was not invasive, those results came back as low risk! How are you getting on?

I am so happy to hear that, that's great news for you all. We're getting along really well, little one is growing nicely and our results came back as low risk this week. When does this anxiety end!! Xx

my sister said that this sorry was good for me as getting me used to what it was like to have a child!!

Oh that's a relief that the nipt showed low risk and thanks for sharing as it's likely then that all is low and it's just the post taking it's time with the strikes, weather and Christmas!

I had mine back by post about 8 days after my test (low risk). Hope your results arrive on your doormat soon. I know there are quite a few postal strikes on at the moment. Xx

Thank you 😊

Hi! I rang for mine - delay is good I think, as they are in more of a hurry to let high risk people know.

I would ring them if you want to know for sure x
