5weeks 6 days spotting

I keep telling myself that it’s normal to have a little spotting. It’s started this morning light pink when I wipe, but a tiny touch heavier this evening. Trying not to panic what will be will be, although now I’ve got a bit of back ache. Scan is booked for week 7. I’ve cancelled our Easter plans as we would have had 8 hours of driving to see my family, I know I’ve just got to wait it out but I hate this uncertainty

I had this until I stopped cyclogest around 13+ weeks with both my successful pregnancies x

Same here - I had some spotting and thought it was all over but was told it was coming from my cervix and probably caused by the cyclogest. I had the last of it 3 days after my last cyclogest at 10 weeks when I went for a scan. It was all completely fine. Hoping it is the same for you xx

I had massive bleeds in my first 8 weeks due to hematoma. I also had spotting on the day of implantation (likely). You'll have many people telling that bleeding in early pregnancy is normal but listen to your gut and get a scan at your local EPU if bleeding worries you. Xx take care and all the best

I had this and it was okay but my clinic did take HCG (which they don’t normally) and as this was high they did scan me early at 5.5 due to the bleeding. I had horrendous bleeding with my first and only light with my second but I told them it was bleeding and bright red as ‘spotting’’ they just make you wait it out! It was red tbf!

My first son was a SCH but with my second we never saw a reason on a scan to say why. At a private scan later down the road she said she saw evidence of a child previous bleed/bruise near the placenta that was now healed and when I gave birth last month they did say the placenta looked like it had a clot/bruise on it as some point so was probably a SCH again but much smaller than the one I had with my first son (that was bigger than the pregnancy sac!).

Either way I would ask clinic for some bloods and describe it now as ‘bleeding’ hope that helps! And you are doing the right thing resting up if it is a wee bruise in their that needs to heal Xx

Thanks my clinic is in Spain and we are in the UK, I can’t see me getting anywhere over the weekend and I’ve got a private scan booked for 25th so unless it gets worse I’ll probably just have to wait it out. Currently sitting in the sun admiring my wisteria, just try to keep relaxed
