Subchorionic Hematoma gotten bigger 11weeks

Hi, I’m exactly 11 weeks today. At 9+1 I found out I had a hematoma that was 3cm, then I got another scan last week at 10+3 and it had shrunk down to 2.23cm so I felt really happy it looked like it was going! Then I’ve had another scan today at exactly 11weeks and it’s grown again but now bigger than the original size and is 3.5cm! I feel so disheartened. Luckily the baby is doing good, but I just don’t see how the hematoma can shrink then get bigger again! I have been really restricting my physical activity as much as I can and walking is the only activity I’m doing (max 20 minutes at a time like if I pop to the post office). I’m really worried it’s just going to get bigger and bigger and never stop! Has anyone else been in this position where it’s gotten bigger?

I’ve got my 12 week scan on the 22nd and I’m now just worried it will be bigger yet again then x

Hello, it’s so hard not to worry when you have something like this. The problem with measurements are that they are trying to measure a 3 dimensional area of haematoma in often two dimensions. There’s often a lot of variation bewtween measurements on different days. There doesn’t sound like there is a significant change between all of those measurements which is good. Also great that baby is doing well.x Sounds like you are doing everything right.x

Thanks, it’s been the same sonographer measuring me so I would think it’s pretty accurate but I appreciate the angle probably is different each time, I just let my mind spiral and make up scenarios in my head like it getting massive. Think I’ll feel better once I’ve had my 12 week scan x
