I thought I would share my recent scan results for anyone with a SCH. At my 6 wk viability scan, a small SCH was shown on scan and I was told to have a follow up scan 1-2 weeks later.
Good news is it had gone yesterday at 8w1d.
She said they are very very common in IVF, especially when on progesterone.
Another hurdle over! 🤞🏻🍀💕

That’s such a relief! What size was it? I have one too and I’m so worried. At 8+4 it was 1.5cm and at 9+1 it was 2.4cm. Did you have to do bed rest or anything?
It was 16mm x 7mm. Have the told you it’s anything to worry about it? The sonographer said you should only worry if it gets bigger than the egg sac and at 9 weeks surely it’s a lot smaller? Try not to worry, they’re very common in ivf and come and go apparently. Xx When ‘a your next scan? I’ll pray it has gone by then xxx
It’s as long as the baby, also measuring 2.45cm. I would say the sac is probably slightly bigger than the hematoma in lenght. The hematoma is very thin, like a stripe. But they said it’s not worrying and to take it easy, but they didn’t put me at best rest. Today and yesterday I put the pressary vaginally instead of rectally and some dark brown blood came out which I think it’s the hematoma and a good sign! I’m going back first thing on Monday (so that’s 5 days later). I just hope it’s slightly smaller xxx
