Progynova - when did you stop in pregnancy?

Hi guys, when did everyone stop there progynova tablets in pregnancy please? I only have 5 days left and I'm 9 weeks today. Should it be continued to 12 weeks like progesterone? Dr thinks i have enough but I'm worried im stopping too soon ❤️

Hi I stopped at around 7 weeks after viability scan. I was advised that it can lead to pregnancy complications later on when on too much estrogen.

so I ran out at 9 weeks and in a panic, called the clinic who perscribed me more until 12 weeks for my on peace of mind! xxx

I had gone down to one a day (from 4) even before the FET as it disagreed with me so much, then tapered off very quickly after BFP. I think it depends what your hormones are doing as I think you need a balance early on and it just happened for me that my oestrogen is always fine/high and progesterone is the biggie, but my understanding is that from 9 weeks your placenta should be making what you need but they like you to stay on progesterone at least a while longer just in case. If you're worried, just keep asking your clinic until they give you some reassurance or guidance.

Clinic told me to continue until 12 weeks, I’m past that now but I’ve decided to continue on mine until they run out. I’ve reduced the dosage until they run out. Xx

My doctor told me to stop both at 12 weeks but I lowered estrogen around 7 weeks and stopped at 9. I measured my levels and they were high so I didn’t think I needed extra. I was taking 6 mg in pills and a patch every 2 days so it was a lot. I did read on other doctors advising to stop at 7 weeks so I didn’t go completely rogue

Hi hun, I was on patches and 4 tablets a day and my specialist advised to slowly taper off. So last week stopped patches and from 7wk+4 I went from 4 to 3 tablets a day, now on 2 tablets a day and next week going down to 1 a day and then stop. I think as I had quite a high dose that was their advice.

I think progesteron till 12weeks is more important on frozen cycles than the estrogen…
