The Liver EQI shear wave elastography median stiffness measurement is 6.32 kPa. This corresponds to mild to moderate liver fibrosis staging, and Metavir score F2-F3
ALP 37 UL, AST (SGOT) 26
But looking online at the Metavir score 6.32 kPa corresponds to F0 to F1 (2 to 7 kPa), what I'm missing?

I wonder the same. I had 7.5 kpa and that was just entering F2 for non-alcohol related fatty liver. I would ask your specialist about that. However the ranges differ based on diagnosis so that might be a consideration.
When I began I was in stage 4 at 25 kpa. then I lost 80 pounds and was at 9 kpa and they said I was in F 3 maybe even F2, but then the biopsy still showed I was in Stage 4. I gained 25 pounds and went up to a 16.5 Kpa, so up 7 points with 25 pounds. Back on the diet along with Olive Oil and Fish Oil. Love to get this down to a 6 and out of stage 4 if possible.
Did they explain why kPa readings can be at a different level than biopsy? Either way a lower kPa sounds like a healthier liver. How much olive oil are you taking? Wishing you best of luck getting the improvement you are working toward. What a great weight loss!
NASH/MASH liver disease and fatty liver is a new disease that has been left unexplored for years. I have had it for 23 years and it was just beginning about 30 years ago. They are still learning new ways with new equipment ect. I just started the Olive Oil but 2 tablespoons. and Fish Oil too.
