Greetings, fellow travelers:

Received a few simple test results back today as a check in. I'm a Type 2 diabetic, with NASH (F2, S3 as diagnosed in November 2020). I also carry a mutant gene for Alpha-1 Anti-Trypsin Disorder, which complicates liver function through binding proteins.

Total Cholesterol: 97

Triglycerides: 83

HDL: 35 (lifetime battle to increase) / LDL: 45 (I'll take it!)

AST: 22

ALT: 27

Alkaline Phosphatase: 65

Albumin: (5.2) A bit out of range, but historically in my norm.

Keep fighting, team. We win the war one battle at a time. You win the battles by winning the day.

Stay vigilant!

I am fortunate in that I carry only one of two Alpha 1 genes, so I'll take it!

I was sitting thinking of what to eat, dreaming of things we shouldn’t eat on this journey we are on......I thought let me look at Health Unlocked, I saw your incredible news in your wonderful post .... I’m going to have a cup of Green Tea and be satisfied.....with tears in my eyes, I thank you for the post, each day I don’t succumb to the cravings is a day closer to health. Congratulations and thank you
