dizziness and feeling faint....is that to do with the endo?

it was suggested by 2 GP's and 3 diff consultants that I have endo but waiting for my lap to confirm, I feel faint and dizzy/woozy at somepoint everyday (not all day though) can be just for a sec or can last hours, could this be part of the endo or not likely?

Are you on any medication as painkillers? Some of them cause dizziness.

Endo is related with fatigue that could cause some dizziness, but not so much.

It could be some many reasons that are totally unrelated with endo, e.g. your sugar levels, or an ear problem (vestibular disorder), it is imbalance in the ear fluids (i had it) it caused me severe dizziness and vertigo.

It will be beneficial to go to your GP and start investigating it. x

Hi.

I asked this question a week or 2 ago as like you suffer from light headed/dizzy spells.

Many answers were given such as food, not drinking/eating enough, thyroids, medication, time of month, anaemia etc. But I could rule it all out. So not sure what causing it.

However, I had read somewhere, but cannot now find it or remember where I read it, that it can be a less common symptom of endo.

Sorry not much help, but you are not alone with this. Hope you are having a good weekend x

thanks for your replies, I'm not on any strong painkillers just over the counter, so could be anything but possibly endo related, just wondered, I will keep an eye on it and go to GP if it gets worse. Thanks for your help

Hope you had a good weekend x

Not sure if you guys are still reading this thread, but I was recently diagnosed with endo and also suffer from dizziness, nausea, bad fatigue & a feeling of weakness/shakiness (like having flu), getting overheated and sometimes shortness of breath. I also have mild problems with balance - spinning room etc. All started a couple of months ago. I had been having some pain since summer last year, but only got really bad a couple of months back - started to have pain all the time, so bad I couldn't walk. The dizziness etc started just before the pain got bad, so before I was on any medication.

I had a laparoscopy a couple of weeks ago and had endo diagnosed & removed and the pain is already better than before - though first period was agony (hope that will improve). My doctor thinks dizziness etc may be caused by anxiety, but I really don't think it is - I do sometimes feel anxious when the pain is really bad (who wouldn't?), but the dizziness etc often doesn't coincide with the pain. Usually I feel pretty calm when it comes on. I have heard theories about endo causing symptoms like this - perhaps because the body is fighting the disease at a deeper level. My periods are unusually light for an endo sufferer and I don't have anaemia.

I feel it's very likely it's all linked to my endo. Do have low BP though, so think that may exacerbate it.

Hope that helps a bit. x

Meant to say all these additional non-pain symptoms are still the same since the lap, even though the pain has improved quite a bit.x
