Hi, a tilted, or retroverted womb, is actually quite a common thing that normally does not cause any issues. 1 in 10 women I believe. It is also very common in women with Endo, I have one too as well as several others here.

I am sure other will fill you in with more info, just wanted to reassure you xxx

I'm a tilted woman too! Had to have both by c-section, probably due to this, as details are hidden from us! Always had a bit of a problem with smears, but my last smear 3 years' ago was a total nightmare. 1st appointment with practice sister, failed to get smear. Referred to doc, she failed too. Had to be referred to hospital gynae to go through the whole embarrassing procedure again!!. Due my next one soon. I told my doc's when they sent the letter about being referred to hospital last time, and they said I have to see nurse - again. I sincerely hope all is straight forward this time, because if not, I shall be bending that doctor's ear!!
