Womb ablation

Hi, I had womb ablation done last may which has helped with the heavy bleeding, but the last few months I've been getting cramps. Tonight the pain is unbearable, I have taken my co-codamol which haven't helped one bit. I've been curled up on my bed since 8. Just wish the painkillers would take the edge of the pain. 😥😥

Have you got/tried a hot water bottle?

Yes I have, nothing worked.

Hi, try a prescription for nefopam and if it's really bad, tramadol. Hope you feel better soon x

Thank you, the pain is terrible. Have made an appointment for docs next week. Will ask for the tablets.

Do you get pain all the time or just when you would have a period ? I' m really struggling since my ablation too just endless pain , well as soon as I had it pain started so may be different to you ?

I had andenomyosis prior to ablation so had some pain but now it's constant can't walk far. I have tissue growing behind scaring and from US my endometrium getting thick but nothing shedding because tissue behind scarring it seems ????and it very uncomfortable and painful backwards and forwards to a and e since ablation and have been told I have post ablation syndrome .

I find the stick on heat patches help a little . Hot water bottle diclofenic suppository also have helped a little or dihydracodine annoying Really gets you down. Hope you feel better soon 💗💗
