My grandaughter suffers excrutiating pain in the lead up to and during the days she has a period.

She has had an MRI scan, 2 laparoscopies and they say it is not endometriosis. If the problem is not related to the womb then why does she suffer so badly with pain. We seem to be going round and round in circles. Pain killers are causing nausia and she is having to take days off work.

I've had so much trouble with doctors and hospitals! You need to really persist with them, ive been suffereing since i was 16! and now me and my dad are staarting to caomplain, and mentioning the imcompetence, there actually starting to do something x

Thanks for your reply. I think the frustration comes from not knowing if it is or not endometriosis otherwise what is causing so much pain.

Yeh they take so much time, unfortunatly Endo is hard to diagnose, because the symptoms can lead to so many different thingsm and lots of doctors dont like doing surgery on people if they feel they really dont need it, especially when its young people! Things are just getting worse now with me so if i cant get an appointment with my doc im just going straight to the hospital, i dont even care any morem and me and my dad are ringing the hospital everyday to try and get them to hurry up with my surgery other wise theyll just leave me where i am, and it will take even longer!
