I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS and Endometriosis from an MRI and I have a Laparoscopy op in just under 2 weeks. Every single month around the time I am due to ovulate get excruciating pain in both of my ovaries. I also get pain at random times of the month too, I’ve been told this can be because cysts can pop and leak a small amount of fluid into the abdomen but it causes agonising pain. The pain you’re describing is very similar to mine and it’s on a daily basis, because of this I’m taking morphine every day. I hope you get some answers x

Thanks for your reply sounds exactly like me I initially thought it was just ovulation pain until the pain gradually got worse over the years and happened at random times not just during ovulation the cysts your talking about are these cysts caused by pcos or endo or both ? sorry to hear you've been in pain best of luck with your laparoscopy I hope it all goes well x

I’ve been told they’re cysts caused from pcos however my consultant said she’d be able to tell me more information once I’ve had the laparoscopy but the MRI scan I had showed up Endometriosis and cysts so I presume they look different? I’ve also had the blood test to confirm pcos. I’ll let you know when I find out more info after my op! Thank you x

Hope all goes well with the tests your getting done. I was diagnosed 10 years ago with PCOS, and 4 years ago with endometriosis during a laparoscopy.

I would be similar to yourself, lots of pain and feeling of pulling in my lower abdomen and pain in a few other places the week before I am due, the week of I am generally heavy and get lots of feelings of pressure, and pain which can extend to the week after I’m finished. There’s times the pain is sharp and excruciating, and times it’s a constant pain. Really hope you get sorted, and get more answers.x

I have the same symptoms. Mine are from ovarian cysts and adhesions on ovaries/tubes. My one ovary is implanted into my pelvic wall so this causes pain as well.
