How to cope with the pain!!!

Hi all

Just wondered apart for the usual painkillers, hot water bottles, tens machine and hot baths is there anything else to try which might help ?

Iv used the heat packs on my back, they work

No problem! They are really good. I had them on permanently before I had lap in dec :) x

I have constantly one stuck on my back lol. I stick one everyday before I go at work.

Deep Heat patches are very long lasting xx

I use pregabaline, doesn't suit everyone bit it has helped me loads x

do deep heat paatches help whilst working jojo. Im mythed by what can help especielly when painkillers don't ass i dont want to pump my body full of them all the time. x

They give good heat for several hours, especially if you move a lot, the more you move the hotter they become.

Give them a try on their own, or in combination with some painkillers (take less than normal) xx

thanks hun will give it a try. i get pains in odd places though like through my hip area inner thigh and groin thats where the pain tends to travel etc

I find being curled upon the sofa hugging my knees helps sometimes. Thats usually combined after having a hot bath and taking strong painkillers though :(

I use a electric heat pad it as been my life saver I would of been lost without it

My main painkiller has been going gluten free... it has reduced my pain to almost zero.. especially during sex which was when my pain was worse.. and now i can have sex again pain free.. no pain pills anymore.. totally worth it.. x
