Hi ladies. I have been having trouble sleeping for a few weeks and I'm so snappy and irritable all of the time. Was wondering if it may be linked to the endo? I was only diagnosed in December. Im seeing my consultant tomorrow and didn't know whether its something I should mention to him.
Thanks

I have started to think the same I to have been having loads of sleepless nights over the last few months and then completely shattered by the morning and struggle at work and home .. going in hospital Tuesday so that will be a question on my list xx
You all have me thinking now. I have suffered with insomnia for the passed 8 years but put it down to shift work that I did but stopped doing that 6 years ago. I have tried homeopathic remedies when it was at its worst (only 1-2 hours sleep a night). I thought that Endo only made it worst now because of the back and pelvic pain. I would be interested in what your doctors say and if there is a link.
I've had periods of insomnia for years - it may be related to hormones or to the meds thatany of us take, but personally I don't think it's specifically caused by endo.
I've tried everything I can find to improve my sleep - the only thing that works for me is to close my eyes and count down from 30, feeling more relaxed with each number. Invariably your mind wanders sometimes so you have to start again. I find this really effective.
I wouldn't say I suffer from insomnia, but I find it hard to get to sleep and then wake up several times during the night. I've been like this for a very long time now and I've put it down to the endo.
