Can endo cause irregular periods

I’m a few days late but I’ve been regular for the last few months. I’ve always had irregular periods but was wondering if this is a sign of endo?

I really want my period haha, sounds crazy (as they are so painful) but with Christmas coming up, I don’t want to bed bound on Christmas Eve or day

I've personally found I've only had irregular periods due to birth control 😮

Same, the only time I actually want my period haha

My periods were extremely irregular. One cycle lasted 159 days. My aunt also had very irregular periods, and we both have endometriosis.

Thankfully I finally found a birth control pill that doesn’t kill me and keeps my cycles regular.

I refuse to go on birth control now as they just mess my body up so much. I have like different length cycles from like 22 days to 40 days

Yeah I used to be the same way. I was 16 when I was started on them and ended up just stopping them all together because I had absolutely terrible side effects.

Now I’m 21 and unfortunately with having endometriosis I had to have something as my periods were absolutely unbearable, even with my high pain tolerance. It took me a long time to find one that actually worked for me. Thankfully my gynecologist is great and helped me through it all.

Perhaps you can find a nice gynecologist that will listen to you and that could help in other ways rather than birth control if they don’t agree with your body.

Good luck to you and I hope your period comes soon 🙂 (and hopefully it isn’t too painful for you) xx
