Gluten Free and Ginger tea....

Hi

I have recently switched to gluten free diet.. (mostly) and i have already noticed a big difference pain wise.. My bloatedness and crampyness was literally non existant while doing this.. then at work on friday our boss bought us all toast for breakfast.. i ate it just because i was really hungry but very soon after i was already feelin bloated and tender.. i cut bread out of my diet a few months ago for weightloss but since cutting out most gluten foods for my endo.. and then eating just two pieces of white toast.. i could see negative results within about 15 minutes.. so i am definately staying away from bread and gluten as much as possible.. iv also been drinking Ginger tea now for about a month or so.. and i really feel that it helps too.. its like my pelvic area feels alot more relaxed and not as achy as soon as iv drank it.. which would make sense as it is a natural anti inflammatory.. also it helps with bloating after meals.. also since drinking this and changing my diet.. i have had much less pain during sex ( i know TMI) lol.. also i snack on things like nuts, almonds mainly.. oh and also i juice half a lemon into hot water every morning as it helps to detox the body and the liver during the day.. a really good supplement that iv been taking everyday for a couple of months now is Bee Propolis.. i also feel that this has helped.. whether it is all the changes that i have made combined that is helping me or just one or two things im not sure.. but im going to stick to my little routine as it seems to be helping up to now.. i just thought i would share this in case any of it helps anyone else.. or if anyone else has any particular foods, drinks that you have that seems to help id like to hear back from you :) im hoping for a much less painful period next week.. fingers crossed anyway lol xx

Thankss

xx

Hi, your routine sounds similar to mine and I have been feeling much better since going more or less wheat free for about 4 months now. Amazed at the reduced pain level. I also started on hot water and lemon juice about a month ago and it makes me feel cleansed inside. it has also helped me to reduce caffeine intake as there is only time for 1 drink in the morning! now on 2 cups of coffee a week!! I intend to keep it up.

Thanks

Thank you for the information. Its great to hear tips as well as offering each other guidance through questions.

I have recently cut out wheat and have found a vast difference in my symptoms. I also am dairy and caffeine free. If I have wheat now I pay for it with achy period style pain afterwards. I also find alcohol sometimes brings on these symptoms too.

Its great to hear improvement in painful sex, as that is one of my main symptoms. I have yet to try since going wheat free, as it has been so painful in the past it takes a little build up!!
