This is a new symptom for me as mine is mostly pelvic pain. Just wondered if anyone else experiences pain in their legs. Its almost like a dragging sensation?

Pain shooting down my legs
Hi Efarms 37,
I get this feeling quite a lot, it usually starts as a cramp/dragging type sensation in my left hip but has recently been in both hips and progresses down the leg. I used to think that it was something else. I've been for X rays which showed nothing. I've read that this may be endo but I'm not sure. I'm due to see the consultant again on the 15th so i'm going to ask her.
Sorry to hear you're in pain & discomfort, hope you get some relief soon.x
Thanks for your response I have spoken to my gynae and it is quite common as the endo can effect the nerves in the lower back so pain can radiate down the legs. Yippeee isn't this great NOT
Hi
Yeah I get this pain too, mostly on my left side, the same side as my damaged ovary. Sometimes it's just hard to walk.
Just another side effect of this awful illness. Sorry!
Lots of love x
Hi I also get this cramp like pain, it starts in my hips then goes down the legs, sometimes i walk with a limp
Just remember chin up and be strong
I got shooting pains down my legs, and the pain clinic put me on Gabapentin, which has stopped this happening.
I have experienced this as well and have found some basic stretches that I learnt in pilates can help relieve it. If you lie on your back with your knees bent up then cross one leg over the other so it froms a triangle. Then pull your leg which is touching the floor in towards you. I hope this makes sense and gives you some relief!
I also suffer with back & leg pain, always assumed it's connected to this horrid disease. I get pain in my left hip then shooting down my leg to my ankle. Then in my right thigh I sometimes get a dull-sharp ache right in the middle of it. I also suffer with my stomach, digestive system & bladder. Again, all linked. My friends joke that I have the body of a 90
Year old woman but they really don't understand the impact endometrosis has on your body & how disabling and painful it can be. It's so much more than a 'painful period'!!! I will try those exercises next time my leg flares up, thank you for sharing xx
Hi
Today or should I say tonight is the 1st real time I have experienced the leg pain .. I often get cramps in my thighs but I just put that down to not stretching. but last night I was basically paralysed from the waist down. This has happened before as I also have scoliosis, but haven't had an attack like this in several years, but this was very different, it started off as just slight cramps and then turned into shooting pains and cramps up and down both legs but mainly in my right leg, it was very difficult as i also had pains in my stomach but due to the pains I'm my legs I was unable to move to try and get into a more comfortable position.
The cyst the drs found was on my left ovary so now I'm worried there could be one on my right ovary. I'm sorry to ramble but it us just nice to be able to vent to people who truly understand the pain I go though every day.
