Extreme Fatigue??

Been feeling really dreadful lately with crashing fatigue and waves of nausea through each day. I am feeling so week with it all. Does anybody feel this way.

I am a month off decapetyl and am afraid that this is a sign of everything coming back as I dont feel like this while on treatment.

Dont know where to turn x

Hiya, hope you are doing ok. I know exactly where you're coming from!

I'm currently on Decapeptyl and feel generally ok, but before that when my endo was bad I suffered terribly with fatigue.

Before the injections, I started taking Blue Green Algae supplements from Holland and Barrett and noticed a change in my energy levels. To test them properly I stopped taking them and my fatigue came back. So I have decided that the supplements worked well for me. They are a bit expensive (about £18 for 60 tablets) but personally I feel they are worth it). I also changed my diet and cut out bread and gluten and started drinking lots of water which helped a great deal also.

I suspect maybe your endo might be coming back so maybe think about taking a vitamin/mineral supplement before it kicks in properly?? - Just a thought, perhaps ask a professional first.

Or, do you think perhaps the nausea might be due to you coming off the Decapeptyl, and your body having some kind of withdrawl symptom from it?? Not sure.

Its just crap sometimes is'nt it! There's a big difference between feeling tired and exhausted, and sometimes I think people don't understand how it actually feels when everything is a complete effort!!!!!!

Anyway, I hope this has helped you a little. Take care and get plenty of good quality rest when you need it! Hope you feel better tomorrow. Love & best wishes x x x

Thank you so much for the reply, Yep, I do think my body knows that the injection is over and is going into overdrive and getting its own back for me eradicating the fatigue and nausea while I was on the injection!

I went to my GP on Wednesday to explain this and it was just like talking to a brick wall, testing everything like my blood pressure and they all appear normal. Suffice to say, I was very upset and mad.

At least its the weekend and I plan to take it easy!

Take care xx

Hi yes co enzyme q10 is a vitamin you can buy it helps with energy levels and the healing endometriosis through diet and nutrition is a book by Dian Shepperson mills and Michael Vernon , it advocates a dairy and wheat free diet , sounds drastic but consider giving it a try , look at amazon ,, check out the endo charities for advice on the diet issue as well , this may well be an answer for you regards

Don't giv up m'dear. I'm just comin towards the end of my period & as usual it has bn a BATTLE!! This is day 5 for me & this is the stage where my tummy feels like I've jus done a 100 rounds with Mike Tyson, I've had the debilitating cramps, fatigue, depression etc In case u're wondering y I'm going on abt my own probs?? That's becoz I wanted to say, that believe it or not I feel that my symptoms r improving, as they used to be a whole lot worse, so bad I was made redundant last yr as a result! However, I do believe there is a lot to b said for changing ones diet. All I can say tho, is that it is a very individual thing & the changes r subtle & very gradual. A few things which I've tried & pls note this is just my personal experience - firstly as a result of major bowel surgery i had becoz of my Endo, I used to get really bad constipation, but I hav increased my water intake & I believe it has helped no end + as I've bn there done that with the GP prescriptions, I've bn using Evening Primrose oil from H & B which I believe has also helped. More recently, someone also recommended flower remedies to me & I've only bn takin these for a few wks but I think they're helping too, so watch this space!

Try not to give up tho, jus b a little proactive with any changes to ur diet & b patient too! Gd luck ?? x

Hi. Sorry to hear you feel so rough. I too sufer with fatiguq because my periods are so heavy. I found i was terribly anaemic and had to have Iron injections and take Iron tablets. Eating dark green veg really helps like brocoli , sugar snap peas etc. I hope you feel better soon. x
