Hi, have you checked your iron levels? Since i got my iron levels back up and got on vit d, b1 b6, b12 i feel a lot better. I was living on coffe and bed for 7pm before. I have cut out the sugar and wheat and helps a lot with managing flare up. Hope this helps!

Thank you, yes I did have blood tests a couple of weeks ago & im now in menopause as had a hysterectomy a couple of years ago but still suffer with cyclical endo pain & on these weeks esp at the end of the pain I feel I could sleep for a week - will try more vitamins & cut out wheat & sugar.

Hi.

I feel for you. Chronic fatigue has been a major symptom for me and people just dont understand it. I cut out all sugar (including honey, fruits...), carbs (even potatoes, rice etc) and gluten, upped the natural fats like nuts and avocado and coconut, and took lots of supplements and all together that has really helped. I've been strict with the diet for about a year (lots of fish, meat, eggs and veg) and now sometimes allow myself a bit of sugar or non-gluten carbs and if it's just a bit I'm ok with it. If I have too much I'm back in bed.

It's tough to get used to but I have a life now. Before I couldn't function. Good luck!hope you find something that works for you

Thx again, I will def need to look at adjusting my diet, have joined SLimming world which nuts & avocado are so high on - but will try a lot of anti inflammatory foods 👍, need to do it & see if it works for me rather than trying to stick to SW diet, but love fish, veg, eggs & veg but do tend to eat chocolate when I’m in pain & down & also drink alcohol with meds to take the edge of pain which I also know you shouldn’t 🤦‍♀️.

I'd recommend that you take Co-enzyme and Q10, it's a natural energy enhancing herbal remedy. You need to go to Just Vitamins website as they do much stronger and much cheaper vitamins.

I get 250mg and it is amazing. I've been taking them for about 15 or 20 years. My parents were told to take it by their private medical advisor (he is an eminent guy health professional and used to treat Princess Diana and she took this herbal treatment).

Best wishes,

Aanz

I have 15 chronic conditions many of them give me brain fog and fatigue. The fibromyalgia and pots cause most of the fatigue for me. I use brain octane mct oil (special coconut oil) in my morning coffee (1 tbsp), it allows your body to burn ketones for energy. Sleep! How is your sleep? If you don’t get enough REM sleep a night your body won’t recharge. If you have a fit bit or Apple Watch you can track your sleep and see where it’s at. Or you can do a few tricks to get your body ready for bed. For a goods night sleep magnesium will become your friend. It will also help with achey legs if you have them. I take 400 mg of magnesium before bed. I also have a 20 minute soak in a warm bath with 2 cups of Epsom. Try cutting out inflammatory foods from your diet as well, especially on those weeks (gluten, sugar, dairy). I have many other tricks for fatigue but these are the main ones.

Thank you that’s so helpful, I do have achey legs too, will def try magnesium again as ran out & never got more, am on amitriptyline as left with nerve damage in groin after hysterectomy which I did think was helping me get a better night sleep?, my sister has ME & Fibromyalgia and think she’s mentioned that oil in coffee? I’m so desperate to feel well, have energy & stop feeling like I want to sleep all the time?

I’ve also tried Epsom salts in bath too - but I’ll try anything natural to help just want to come off prescription meds & feel normal 😂 & a bit alive again, have such brain fog & poor concentration/memory, but put this all down to being in the menopause 🤦‍♀️.

With the baths you need 2 full cups or it’s not enough to help. My fibro makes it so that I have non stop crawling in my legs. The magnesium helps so much, so do trigger point injections. The brain fog is the worst. It’s so hard to concentrate. Last night I got 4% rem, you should have 25%+. If you don’t get enough rem you won’t charge your batteries. The less inflammation you have in your body the better. Research anti inflammatory diets. For me it hasn’t been one special magical pill, it’s a bunch of smaller daily things. My post concussion syndrome also causes a lot of brain fog. Have you recently had any blood work done? Get them to check your iron stores, not just iron (it’s called ferritin). It’s your body’s iron storage site, even if your iron level is normal your stores might be low. Also check your thyroid as it can cause fatigue (I have hashimotos, thyroid auto immune condition), you need to make sure they aren’t just checking your tsh (this tells if your thyroid has an issue but doesn’t always show issues). Get them to also check TPO because it will show if you have any auto immune thyroid issues. I hope my ramblings help in some way. 💕
