I hope everyone is having a flare free day.
So I am in Spain for a month and this is my 8th day.
unfortunately I also just got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, with glucose levels hitting the 20’s
so I thought it was a perfect time to eat low carb and cut out sugar, and my glucose levels have gone right down, which is great but…. I suddenly im having the mother of all flare ups, it’s the worst that I can actually remember, my stomach is huge , swollen and sore. I look 9 months pregnant.
I’m not even sure what has triggered it, ive been eating all fresh stuff, turkey steaks, aubergine, mushrooms, eggs, very few onions, . Also oranges, pears, gazpacho . Almonds.
(So it’s been great for the diabetes glucose levels which went into single figures, but awful for flare ups 😥)
That is all I was eating for first few days, and on day three something triggered it, and I’m still like it now.
im so fed up and sore.
Can anyone offer advice?
