hello, I’m in the West Midlands / Welsh border and the local hospital said 9-12 months minimum, 18 months isn’t unheard of. There is even a wait for the local private hospital… was 2 months to see the specialist gynae for an appointment. 🫠
Thank you, I am considering going private but have no health insurance - so it’s going to be costly. Can’t keep living with these symptoms for another 12 months though. I know I’m not alone and so many of us are going through the same battles.
I am in east midlands I was told two years after labour got in as the waiting lists were tweaked. I was told by the waiting list line that your Doctor can push your referral up the list but whether the consultants take it on board is debatable. I asked my doctor as I just was dreadful with pain etc. I got a cancellation two weeks later. Good luck. X
I waited 18 months for my hysterectomy. That was 18 months from referral to the endometriosis specialist. But it was 13 months from my appointment with the specialist. I hope you don't have to wait too long!
Thank you. I hope so too, did the hysterectomy greatly help your symptoms?
Yea, I feel very lucky. I'm tired today, but had a very busy weekend with family visiting. Even though I feel so much better I keep forgetting that I've had major surgery!
I'm in the Scottish Borders and was given a 2 year wait time from Edinburgh. I've been on the list since September 2023.
Im in the south of england and i been told 12-18 months. Signed my forms in may 2024
