Pain after surgery

Hi everyone. I had surgery just over a week ago and found out I have endometriosis. I'm just wondering if you guys had any pain in the belly button afterwards. It is a very sore feeling and I'm considering going to my doctor about it. Any help would be brilliant. Thanks.

I had my lap a week and a half ago and had belly button pain for a while but it died down. If it’s red, hot or there’s discharge coming from it definitely speak to your gp, that was the advice I was given

I had my lap 3 weeks ago on Tuesday and the belly button pain was the worst part of it. It started 2 days after the surgery and lasted for around 5-6 days. I just kept on top of pain killers and tried not to sit or lay in positions that would be hard to get back out of, lots of cushions and pillows helped. Hope this helps xx

Yes 2 years on and still pain in belly button. Lap caused a hernia in my case.

In your case, however, it is still very early days. Monitor the pain levels and go back to the doctor if there is no improvement.

Hey, it took around 2 weeks for my bellybutton to stop hurting especially when bending down. I still get a little pain if I over do something so just ask it easy. Xx
