I know we are supposed to avoid sex for at least 6 weeks post op but what about clitoral stimulation?
I have had extensive endometriosis removed and still have a lot of pain post surgery (2 weeks ago). I decided to let my partner bring me to orgasm twice last night (externally through the clitoris) 2 weeks post lap and I am much more pain today.
I am in more pain today, crampy style pains. I just wondered if the orgasms could be the cause? I haven’t done any irreparable damage have I?
I am also approaching ovulation (first time since my surgery) and I know this can be painful on top of all the surgical healing and inflammation.
I won’t be doing this again for the record until I’m much more healed.

I doubt you've done damage, don't worry yourself, there may be some correlation between orgasm and pain but im doubtful there will be long term damage just from clitoral stimulation. Personally for me I waited much longer before being intimate just as I had no desire really and still felt really vulnerable. But everyone is different and if you felt ready to try then I'd take that as a positive x
Thank you for your reassuring words. I do still feel pretty vulnerable to be honest and really don’t feel up to sex but I do have quit a high libido and find the whole 6 weeks plus no sex a bit daunting! Lol! 😝
I’ll leave any sort of stimulation now for a few weeks as it’s not worth it.
The pain seems to have eased a little anyway but I did have to take some codeine and paracetamol which is a step back from yesterday. Onwards and upwards! 💪🏻
