prostap injections

Hello,

i was wondering if anyone had a similar experience, ive been on prostap injections 3monty ones, for coming up to 1 year, recently maybe 2 months go ive been spotting alot, clots and all. Spoke to my Gynae who said this medication isnt working on my body anymore. They are prescribing me a medication called Ryeqo tablets to take back to back, has anyone taken this before, is it any better then the injection. My pains seems to have come back aswell i was doing so well until now, feeling defeated 😞

I have heard the three monthly ones wear off after ten weeks so people get them every ten weeks. I'm on the monthly one's.

I had my injection in September and maybe after 2/3 weeks i started bleeding again. I have been taking the prostaps every 10/11 weeks for about a year and this problem has only started since September, im really confused

Hi i did have one month after about six injections were i had spotting for three weeks, amf i lost a large clot but nothing since i did read that you can still have random bleeding. Have they given you hrt too as that can have side effects of bleeding tooSending you a big hug xx 🤗

I was on hrt tablets but they told me to come off it as it could cause the bleeding, but the spotting hasn’t stopped so they writing a new prescription for pills, unfortunately my Gynae is in Birmingham and im not from there, so have to wait for them to write to my GP who will then proscribe the pills 😣
