New pain

Morning. Just looking for a little advice plz. I have adenmyosis and endo currently on zoladex. The past 2 days I've been getting some awful pain in my back nothing unusual but now getting pains in my belly around my belly button. Does anyone else have this? Xx

Yes I've had a lot of belly button pain recently on zoladex. I've no idea what causes it. I also get back pain on my left under my ribs but it comes and goes. I think it may be my organs in protest to the drug. Addback HRT really helps me x I don't think I could do this drug without it.

I’m nearly two weeks into to my third (4 weekly) Zoladex injection. I’ve had all sorts of aches and pains. My lower back has been awful at times and pains around my belly button. The Zoladex has reduced bleeding (had two periods 2 weeks apart with the first injection, bleeding again now with the 3rd) but it hasn’t done much for the uterus and right ovary pain which are my biggest problems with adenomyosis and endometriosis. Was already on HRT for perimenopause before the injections. Have increased the estrogen patches to help with symptoms but feel pretty horrible overall think I had a panic attack/or big reaction to the medication on Boxing Day (back ache, nausea, racing heart, sweats, then crying).

I might stop the Zoladex. On balance, I feel worse. I also didn’t react well to the Mirena coil (managed four weeks before removal) which is a shame because I know it works wonders for some.

How are you getting on with Zoldex? Is it helping you?
