So about 2 years ago I was in agony and really unwell, I have various ultrasounds and an MRI, where I was told I had deep pelvic endometriosis. Over the last few years I’ve really struggled with pain nearly everyday, and when on my period really extreme unbearable pain with many other symptoms. The beginning of this year was really terrible pain wise and I was really unwell for a couple of months with a few hospital trips. My periods in March, April, and May were different, they were regular . They were lighter and not much pain which was not normal for me, but I was still getting pain and flare ups constantly outside of my cycle. I’m finally getting a follow up MRI 2 years later which I’ve had to fight for. Since I haven’t really had that bad pains the last couple of months and my periods have been bearable, I worry that nothing will show up on the scans, it just seems like it’s all disappeared. I am now over 2 weeks late for my period (pregnancy tests negative) and any ovulation test I’ve taken over the last year at various points in my cycles have all been negative. I’ve also been told I have PCOS. Has this happened to anyone else where your symptoms suddenly disappear? Because I want them to see it on the scans again as when I am in pain, no pain meds even touch it, it’s unbearable. Advice would be appreciated xx

Hey, Endo does do this. I nearly didn't have my lap because I had a few really good months but it was very much still there. I would just enjoy having less symptoms for a while
Same. I nearly cancelled my lap after a couple of easier periods, convinced I had maybe been overly dramatic about my symptoms. But then I had another really terrible period just before my lap and was like "ahhhh okay this is why I started this process".
My pain went away for years. My periods were heavy but better and my pelvic pain stopped completely after several years of seeing a physio, chiropractor, osteopath and pilates expert. I'd changed my diet, was prioritising sleep, changed jobs, quit alcohol and was taking supplements. I think all of this helped massively. When they did the MRI they found stage 4 endo with it all massively fused together so whilst lifestyle changes can switch it off to some degree, it's still there. Also peri menopause seemed to suddenly wake mine back up. It's like it's in remission in a strange way then comes back.
