wondering if anyone suffers with heavy and tired legs that are present with aching and sore pains (mainly to upper legs) around their cycle? If so, is there anything that helps take an edge off it?
I find it hard to walk about during my period and thinking of using a walking stick if I need to get around, just to take the weight off.
My consultant hasnt shed much light on why I suffer with this and its something Im struggling to deal with.
thank you in advance

Hi, I’m exactly the same but it’s all the time. I have been worse since having surgery and struggle to walk daily now. It’s so painful in my hip and legs. I’ve been using a walking stick for months, it really helps. I got mine from Neo walk. They have really nice ones.
Hi Emma, thanks for replying! As horrible as it is, it’s nice to know I’m not alone!
I hoped surgery would be the answer for me too, but they had to abort due to complications with my small bowels, so I’m trying to learn to cope with the endometriosis.
I think the walking stick may be beneficial, if it helps you with your daily pain, I’m sure it will give me the same relief. Thank you for your advice, I will look into Neo Walk.
No problem, I think the odds are stacked against you so much when “trying to cope” or “just managing”. I’ve heard that so many times and I don’t know what else I can try. It’s an awful disease and a life sentence. I try to be positive but it’s constantly like fighting a losing battle. I just try to take each day at a time and try to enjoy the little things otherwise I’d have totally lost my mind ha.
Also having a mobility aid will help so much so you might as well have a fancy one ha. I have 2 from Neo walk and I get so many compliments xx
I had to go to a physio and when she asked for my conditions and I said endo she said ‘oh, yeah, endo can really cause leg pain’ which I had zero idea about and had been putting it down to other things. So yep, definitely can be endo caused.
hi hun I get the same I had an operation and now it’s back with evengence again mainly the tops of my legs down to my knees . One of my friends said when she had a hysterectomy this pain went away but she said it was because endo can press on the femeral nerve or be intertwined with it . Xx
my meds don’t really make a lot of difference to be honest there was one med that made it go away and that was when I was in a synthetic menopause but that medication made my mental health so severe . That was the decapeptyal injection .
hey AJ, yeah I’ve had excruciating pain in the top of my thighs sometimes down to my knee which I thought was kinda insane. I have toasted skin all over the top and way down my thighs, all over my groin, god sometimes it really digs in there and all over my abdomen up and over my navel. I’m on a really high dose of gabapentin and tramadol, but it’s never enough… I too am going to look into Neo walk. Thanks to you & Emmaalfie 🌷
