ah..right..I had a hysterectomy 16 years ago and because my ovary was “plastered onto my bladder” ( the surgeon’s words) they accidentally cut into my bladder and pierced my bowel. I came home with a catheter for a month. Anyway ever since I’ve had progressively worse bladder issues, they said it was nothing to do with the surgery. ( I don’t actually believe this)

Now I have very bad bladder issues, overactive bladder and stress incontinence, I have my bladder completely empty itself in public, wet the bed, wee pouring down my legs when walking to the bathroom.

I’ve been seeing urologists for years over this, tests where the urologist said my bladder behaves very badly, they fill me up and it just pours right back out lol.

Anyway now have Botox it the bladder which helps, but not completely and I still have accidents.

They say it’s nothing to do with surgery? So I thought maybe it’s the endo, but now…having read your post, I’m not so sure…….hmmmm

Hi I'm so sorry but that's crap I'm afraid, it can unfortunately be a side effect of having a hysterectomy. Unfortunately they don't tell you everything beforehand, sending you a big hug x ❤️🤗

This is one of the many reasons i refused a hysterectomy, as sadly this can be a side effect. But they don't always tell you everything. Sending you a big hug x 🤗
