Hello,I have just had my mirena coil removed and have started my first period in 2 years. Today I have been struggling with endo belly and have been the most bloated I have ever been since my endo diagnosis. The bloating has been really painful to walk, sit down and pass water. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to ease the pain or bloating?
Thank you x

Haven't gone through exactly what your talking about (currently on coil) but wanted to help if I can
Is the pain like period cramps? If so try to take ibuprofen before you even think your on your period it can help negate the pain somewhat and is anti inflammatory
A hot water bottle might help - heat can help pain sometimes just being in the shower can make me feel a little better for a while
My personal favourite pain relief (only had it under 6 months) is a tens machine. Blocks the pain signals to your brain. Still feel things but it doesn't compare to before without it.
If it's painful to pass water I would suggest seeing your doctor especially if it's consistently happening. They will probably suspect a UTI but at the end of the day pain when urinating isn't something to ignore. Pain when going to the loo isn't unheard of with endo but it's always good to check it out just incase.
Hope you find relief soon and your body settles into a new rhythm x
