After zoladex

Hey guys I'm wondering if anyone else has felt the way I am, Google has been no help & drs tell me everything's normal when I bring things up. I have finished my zoladex & hrt treatment (6 months) for endo and I'm a week or so off it & been feeling extreme nausea even throwing up after eating. I've had a few other stuff like sleeping poorly & hot flashes & sporadic bleeding but the main issue is the constant nausea/vomiting. Is this normal due to hormone spike/balancing out?

Hardly had any symptoms while actually on the treatment 🤷‍♀️

Thanks, a very sick girlie in need of assurance

Hi

I don’t remember specifically having nausea with Zoladex, I have nausea generally at times and take Metoclopramide for it.

Can you remember what your symptoms were like before Zoladex? If it’s been helping you and it’s at the end there could easily be an imbalance going on. I had to carry on taking the HRT for I think two weeks after the last month of the injection

Ah see I've stopped the hrt due to the bleeding I wonder if that's what's doing it? Didn't really have much nausea before the zoladex only during ovulation when the pain was the worst

I’d speak to GP or consultant about it. Hormones are so unpredictable for us especially with Endo.

Nausea seems to be a symptom of Endo going by past posts and my experience. Once more research is done hopefully they can narrow it down and we’ll have more specifics.

Well, I never had nausea or vomiting while on zoladex however, I had very severe joint pain that almost crippled me. And even 1yr+ of stopping zoladex, my symptoms are still present but subsiding quite slowly that I’m beginning to get worried. So yeah, to answer your question, it might be zoladex causing your symptoms. But different people experience different side effects from these medications. Hopefully your symptoms will subside soon enough. x

Thank you for replying! Hopefully get back to some normality soon, I'm just eating dry crackers in hopes of not vomiting it's not fun. I'm sorry you're still dealing with symptoms after such a long time that's awful x

at times hunny I suffer with nausea and vomiting due to the pain in the end had to have ondansadrone anti sickness as the others I was still badly sick on. Before I had this anti sickness in would be sick every single month the worst was sick ten days solid and they accused me of being pregnant this was before I was diagnosed with endo. Xx see if you can get anti emetics for the sickness and. Nausea .

That's horrible I'm sorry you went through that. I was told to get anti allergy tablets as they act as anti sickness but they made me even worse so stopped I wonder if it's worth going back to the GP as they don't seem to listen xx
