I'm currently on my first zoladex injection which I thought was an absolute life saver. Touch wood I have not had any awful symptoms like anyone else has, however today I have started to have endometriosis pain again? And it's come with a vengeance. I'm due my next injection in 5 days, is this normal? Has anyone experienced this?

Hi yes it is normal. Zoladex shuts off the ovaries but before they do you get a massive surge of oestrogen causing a flare of symptoms. Depending on where in your cycle you had the first implant will depend on when this happens. It normally settles down. It does get easier. Hope it helps.
Yep totally normally, I think as the implant wears off you start to feel like you did before. I'm a day from the end of my last 4 week injection and for days now getting pain and feeling weepy & emotional. Exactly the same as this time over the last 3 implants.
Did the zoladex help you straight away? I had my first injection last wed so I'm on day six. I've had the most awful pain over the wkend and last night 😢
Yeah I'm exactly the same, about to have my third injection on Thursday and I always find the week I slowly go back to having bad pains, hormones in over drive, weight gain and then it's all fine. Part of me really wants to ask to have it every 3 weeks because of the wearing off of it.
Make sure you keep an eye on where they put the injection as I have had it once in the wrong place and it was just a horrendous month
