Hello all,I had my second surgery for endo back in may and i feel the recovery has been long and exhausting to the point my mental state has plummeted. I dont remember my first being this bad. Im not sure if its because there was a lot more there?

I had a 3cm nodule removed, adhesions on my bowel, a lot going on. Even the consultant said i have a complex case of it.

My bowels are all over the place, one minute its fine, then loose, just tonight ive had dinner and not even 10 minutes im rushing to the loo.

I wouldnt be so concerned but ive had a lot of health problems with bowel polyps, back problems, numerous blood tests and i cant handle it.

Has anyone elses recovery been all over the place? I just want to feel some kind of normal 😭😢

sorry this is going on. I feel your pain, I’m one week post surgery and my pain is so unpredictable each day. Yesterday I felt like I was on the road to recovery and today I’ve woke up with excruciating back pain again. We just need to be patient and give our bodies time to heal. Sorry I’m not much help. Try not to be so hard on yourself. I wish you a speedy recovery and just know that you’re not alone. Take care 😊

Hi, I had surgery in March. I felt very vulnerable physically and emotionally for a while. Would say it took about 4 months before I felt significantly stronger and more resilient. I had the coil fitted and feel that has impacted my hormones and mood too but that has slowly improved. If your feeling persistently low/anxious then please reach out to someone/ your GP for help as I know how horrid that can be x

I felt very emotional and exhausted for the first couple of months, recovery is different for everyone. Give your body the time it needs. I was 5 months before I felt really myself fully, but much improved by 4 months x
