Hi all, I had my endo excision laporasocopy 4 weeks ago. I had my bowel stuck to my uterus, bladder endo, uterus endo and vaginal endo. After surgery I didn't bleed and didn't really have much pain. But 2 weeks after op I started bleeding like a period despite still being on the pill, and I've been bleeding for two weeks since with abdominal cramping daily.Anyone else have this issue? I have a meeting with my surgeon in 2 days to check.

Bleeding after post op endo surgery?
Yes I had a huge amount of bleeding a couple of weeks after surgery , extremely heavy. But it eventually stopped . I had no bleeding or much pain after surgery too. I'm 6 months post surgery now
Oh I'm glad I've found someone with a similar experience. Are you fully recovered now 6 months after? I am going to see my surgeon today just to be sure everything is okay
I am much better now, thanks. At 4 weeks I was still very anxious about everything and still dealing with the emotional effect of the surgery. So take your time and look after yourself! I'm back to normal life .. dancing and exercising without issues! I started dienogest in May, so I've had some side effects from it , and had to follow up with my surgeon about it. But the longer I'm on it, the side effects seem to be reducing. The incisions are hardly noticeable now and generally life is back to normal. So give yourself time and all will be well!
I can't wait to get back to exercise but that feels like so far away right now. How long did it take for you to get back to your dancing?
I would just give yourself all the time you need. I was the same in the beginning... wishing I could just get back to normal but you need to give your body time to heal. I was driving within 6 weeks and Going on long walks everyday. But I didn't go back to dancing for quite a while because it's salsa I do and it's quite vigorous! The physio at the hospital was happy for me to go back to my personal trainer + dancing within 10 weeks. The surgeon said I could go back earlier but I decided to wait
PS I had stage 4 - surgeon says it was the worst he had seen in 35 years!
Oh gosh, I haven't heard of that. Hopefully stopping the pill will work 🤞🏻 Hope you're doing okay
